  • Occupational Therapy is a special education related service that is provided to students with IEPs who require the specialized support of an Occupational Therapist to access their education according to their IEP.
  • School-based occupational therapy targets skills and supplementary accommodations required for students to access and participate in the school environment and may include support of fine motor skills and/or sensory need.
  • As a part of the IEP, Occupational Therapy may be provided through direct instructional support of the student and/or consultation and collaboration with a student's special education teacher, general education teacher, and special education support staff.
  • SBCEO provides occupational therapy services to students from the following dstricts:
